For the second consecutive day, the commando forces of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with the participation of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), conducted another successful security operation against ISIS cells in Deir ez-Zor’s eastern countryside.
“Based on precise intelligence, SDF forces raided where the members of the terrorist cell were hiding in the Al-Busayrah town, and successfully captured them," said the SDF Press Center in a statement about the operation.
According to the statement, the captured terrorists were planning to carry out terrorist attacks targeting our military and security forces, as well as civilians and public institutions in the area.
“Our forces reaffirm their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the security and stability of the region. They will not tolerate any threat posed by terrorist elements and will continue to protect civil peace, ensuring that the region does not become a breeding ground for terrorism and chaos,” SDF stated.
