According to information provided by local sources, an explosion occurred during the passage of a civilian car in the village of Seeda in Mergede town, located 35 km to Shaddadi town of Heseke.

Sources report that a vehicle belonging to Self-Defense Forces was also passing by the scene when the explosion occurred.

The driver of the civilian car and 13 fighters of Self-Defense Forces were wounded as a result of the blast, including 5 with critical injuries.

The injured have been taken to hospital.
