The human shield action against the occupation threats made by the Turkish state is continuing at the border of Girê Spî.
The human shield action takes place in the Munbetih neighborhood on the border line. The human shield activists are enjoying numerous visits during the day.
Speaking on the sixth day of the action, Girê Spî Democratic Autonomous Administration co-chair, Mensûr Al-Salûm, said: "Thanks to the democratic revolution initiated by Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan on the call for peace and common life, all peoples in the region live in peace and security."
Al-Salûm called on all peoples in the region to resist and defeat the conspiracies and attacks.
The Turkish threats of occupation were also condemned by co-mayor of Girê Spî People's Municipality Izet El-Hermê, co-mayor of Silûk District Assembly Fatma Himêdî, Mustefa Bozo, member of the Assembly of Girê Spî and Eli Baciliyê Municipality co-mayor Zerifa Qewas.
