Human shields in Serêkaniyê continue their action

People of Northern and Eastern Syria are doubling their actions in response to the threats of the occupying Turkish state.

In Serêkaniyê, at the border, people are organising a human shield action for 8 days.

In a speech delivered at the action tent, Ebdilxenî Oso, co-chair of Hesekê Council and a human shield himself, said: “We stand against the hatred and threats of the Turkish state. Our only decision is resistance.”

Stating that the people of Northern and Eastern Syria promised to put an end to all external attacks being carried out since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, Oso added: “Our people are showing great resistance. These are days of resistance. Today history will be written.”

Azad Berazi, a member of the Syria Kurds Democratic Party said: “All Syrian peoples should stand against the attacks of the Turkish state, led by Erdogan and the AKP.”
