The invading Turkish army and their allied gangs have been attacking the natural environment since the day they launched the occupation. The invaders have set fire to the forests and cut down trees to be transported to Turkey.
The gangs from the 112th Brigade and 3rd Brigade have set fire to the olive groves in Mabata. Local sources said some thousand trees perished in the district and that many trees were set on fire in Shera as well.
Over 5,000 trees were cut down by gangs in the Xazyene village of Mabata.
Turkish invasion forces and their allied gangs have set fire to over 14 hectares of cultivated lands and thousands of fruit trees. They have also confiscated the civilians’ produce.
