Two babies lost their life in Berxwedan Camp in Shehba

The Autonomous Administration and Heyva Sor a Kurd have been crying out for aid while the world played deaf.

Two small babies have lost their life in Berxwedan Camp in Shehba Canton of Northern Syria. Heyva Sor a Kurd teams have made all in their hands to save the children but the lack of right medical equipment made the situation critical.

This is the news that no one wants to hear. Yet, the people in Shehba, the Autonomous Administration, the refugees and Heyva Sor a Kurd have been shouting out to the world. They have been appealing for help, yet the world turned a blind eye and played deaf. And now, everyone is responsible for the death of these two little children. 

The people forced to leave Afrin because of the attacks and occupation of Turkish forces and their mercenary allies, have settled in Shehba, where the Berxwedan Camp has been quickly set up.

35-day baby Haydar Ebdo and 1-year-old Bayram Fêsel Dada were first treated at the Heyva Sor a Kurd health center in the camp.

Both babies could not be saved because the necessary equipment and medicines for treatment were not available at the camp's health center.

The babies were referred to Avrîn Hospital in the Fafînê District of Shehba Canton but could not be saved.

Emre Qenbir, a member of Heyva Sor said: "We referred both babies to Avrîn Hospital once it was established the serious conditions they were both suffering from. Unfortunately baby Haydar Ebdo, who was suffering from chest pain, lost his life on his way to the hospital. Baby Bayram Fêsel Dada lost his life due to heavy meningitis. "

Qenbir called on humanitarian agencies to help the people of Shehba so they could receive proper medical care.
