The Health Committee of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced today the death of one infection case and the record of 24 other new ones by the COVID-19 pandemic in North and East Syria.

Ciwan Mustafa, co-chair of the Health Committee of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, announced on Saturday that the new infection cases are 13 males and 11 females, distributed as follows:

4 cases in Heseke

7 cases in Qamishlo

8 cases in Derik

1 case in Girkê Legê 

1 case in Tirbe Spiyê

1 case in Raqqa

2 cases in Shehba

Mustafa said that there has been one death caused by the pandemic.

With the latest figures, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in North-East Syria rose to 8227. There have also been 283 deaths and 1158 recoveries.
