A total of 11 houses were rendered unusable as a result of the latest attacks by the Turkish forces on the northern Syrian canton of Gire Spi.
The occupying Turkish army and allied mercenaries have been conducting howitzer and missile attacks on the M4 highway and villages in Ain Issa and Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) in recent days.
Continued attacks on Monday targeted the villages of Mielek, El- Cedîdê, Mişêrfê, Hewalek, Um Hoş, Erîda and houses close to the M4 highway. The attack with howitzers and mortars was carried out from the Turkish army base located in the village of Kermazat.
According to Gire Spi Assembly Criminal Documenting Office, a total of 11 houses were rendered unusable as a result of the attacks.
As many as 124 houses have been demolished in the villages in Gire Spi canton as a result of Turkey’s attacks since 9 October 2019.
