Hundreds joined the mass funeral at Martyr Dicle Cemetery in Kobanê for fighters Muhammed Yüce (Brusk Pirsus), Xidir Hemê (Zana Bêlwêran), Fırat Mihemed (Cahid Bab), Elî Xelîl Alawî (Şervan Beyadiyê), Salih Hisî (Salih Cengiz), Ezîz Mîlan (Kendal Kobanê), Ehmed Mihemed (Gîvara Rojava), Buşra Xelîfe (Emara Cerablus), Tariq Şerîf (Cûdî Kobanê), Dijwar Wero (Gurê Reş Kobanê), Ehmed Bozo (Moro Kobanê), Mihemed Osman (Elî Cîhan) and Egîd Şêx Mihemed (Egîd Kobanê) who fell fighting ISIS in the Raqqa operation.
Manbij Military Council General Commander Ednan Ebû Emced, Kobanê Canton Democratic Autonomous Administration Deputy Co-chair Xalid Berkel, Defense Council President Ismet Şêx Hesen and members of Institution of Martyrs' Families in Manbij also attended the funeral.
The funeral started with a military ceremony, after which Ismet Şêx Hesen, TEV-DEM member Malik Mîtan and Manbij Institution of Martyrs' Families member İbrahim Xelaf held speeches, in which they offered condolences to the families of martyrs, and stated that the freedom fighters avenged those martyred in Kobanê massacre.
Speakers remarked that the fraternity and co-existence of peoples has been attained with the blood of martyrs, and pledged to follow the path of martyrs until all Syrian lands are cleared of terror.
Following the ceremony, 13 martyrs were laid to rest amid slogans.
