SDF sources said the gangs attempted to attack Til Cican village in Shehba at 01h30 on Tuesday.

15 gang members were killed and several were wounded in the attack. A vehicle with a heavy machine gun was also destroyed.

After heavy fighting the gangs had to retreat to their positions.
