162 recruits finished basic military training in Martyr Eziz Ereb Academy in Sabdax village near Girê Spî.
The 20-day training cycle was named after Rubar Kobanê who was martyred during the operation to liberate Raqqa.
The recruits got their graduation documents with a ceremony attended by SDF commander Sidar Kobane, Militan Efrin and several YPG/YPJ military officials.
Speaking at the ceremony, SDF commander Militan Efrin said: “The graduates of the previous military cycle liberated Raqqa and they fulfilled their responsibilities. Now you will take over the task to defend it.”
The recruits then took the oath and officially joined SDF ranks.
