Afrin Canton Health Council Co-chair Ancela Resho held a press conference on Sunday and announced that 33 civilians have been killed by Turkish attacks on Afrin since the adoption of the latest UN resolution on a ceasefire in Syria. Among the slain civilians are a child and 15 women.
Resho stated that a total of 212 civilians died since Turkey’s launch of invasion operation against Afrin Canton of Northern Syria on January 20. These include 28 minors, 25 women and 159 men. The number of injured civilians has increased to 612, including 76 minors, 82 women and 463 men.
