350 teachers from the Arab community in Efrîn Canton are taking exams prepared by Democratic Society Education Committee on the new teaching material in Arabic language.

A part of these teachers had participated before in an education program of elementary level for 21 days starting from 22nd of July.

The exams for grammar and secondary schools had started on July 15 and continued for one month.

Elementary school level teaching materials have been changed completely last year, while this year the grammar and secondary level curriculum underwent improvements.

The exams dealt with how the teachers should use the new materials during lessons, and more exams will be made about Arabic grammar.
