400 fighters join the Self-Defence Forces in Raqqa
400 fighters completed their training in Raqqa and joined the Self-Defence Forces.
A ceremony was held at the end of the 45-day training for 400 fighters at the Self-Defence Forces Academy in Raqqa.
The ceremony was attended by new fighters, commanders, Raqqa Military Council, representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the families of the fighters.
In a speech at the ceremony, Hazim Idris, a member of the Self-Defence Forces Training Department, praised the efforts of the fighters.
Hazim Idris underlined that the responsibility for the protection of the region belongs to everyone and emphasised the importance of implementing military perspectives.
Afterwards, the fighters staged a military parade and took the military oath in front of those present at the ceremony.
