The General Command of the Internal Security Forces of Northern and Eastern Syria shared the identities of three of its members who were martyred yesterday in a bomb attack carried out by ISIS on the Hesekê–Raqqa road, according to a statement published on its official website.
The statement said: "We are honored to announce the martyrdom of three members of our 'Transportation and Road Security Unit,' who were carrying out their patriotic and humanitarian duties on 1 June to ensure the safety of roads and civilians. Our three members were martyred in an attack carried out by a cell of the ISIS terrorist organization on the ‘Ebyed’ road, which connects the cities of Hasakah and Raqqa.

Our martyrs sacrificed their pure lives for the freedom of the people. They were carrying out their duties with great courage and discipline in the face of terrorist attacks that targeted the peace of the region and the safety of civilians. This act of terror will only strengthen our determination to continue the fight against terrorism and eliminate its remnants wherever they may be.
We extend our condolences and wish patience to the families of our martyrs. Their sacrifice will continue to guide us in fulfilling our duties."
