The Kurdish Red Crescent Heyva Sor is a voluntary humanitarian NGO established on 12 December 2012, through a youth group that has taken upon itself the mission of humanitarian assistance in the regions of northeastern Syria.
The assistance that included the health, emergency and relief services subsequently evolved and expanded to include other services, like IDP and Refugees camps service, psychological and social support, medical development projects, and other activities like wash and developmental programs in addition to developing work techniques through programs such as protection, early warning and other programs that aim to raise the level of work.
On the anniversary occasion of the founding of the Kurdish Red Crescent, after seven years of continuous work, more than 1,000 employees and hundreds of volunteers pledge to develop the work and do their best for the area.
