8 members of Turkish-backed gangs killed in Shehba
Clashes erupted between Jaysh al-Thuwar (Army of Revolutionaries) and Turkish army-affiliated gangs that attacked Shehba region of Rojava yesterday evening.
Gang groups affiliated with the Turkish army that are deployed in the town of Mari and the villages of Tiwîs and Til Malid launched an attack on Shehba Dam and the villages of Hisiyê, Simoqe, Til Medîq and Qolsirûc Thursday evening.
The gangs' attacks with heavy weaponry were responded harshly by Jaysh al-Thuwar (Army of Revolutionaries).
Following clashes that continued until 04:00 this morning, the attacks were repelled and 8 members of the Turkish-backed gangs were killed.
