Preparations are underway for a new camp due to the rise in the number of Raqqan migrants in Manbij.
Manbij Civilian Assembly Co-chair Zeynep Qenber, her aides Cemîle Ehmed and Ebdulsetar Şîkagî, Economy Committee Co-chair Henan Mihemed, Agriculture Committee Member Ebdulrehman Cahî and Manbij Aid Organization Co-chair Munzir Bedir visited the grounds for the migrant camp to be built.
The camp will be set up in the Resim Exder village, 6 km to the east of Manbij, and will host Raqqan migrants who fled ISIS cruelty.
From tomorrow, in a joint effort by the Manbij Aid Organization and the People’s Municipality, the camp’s terrain will be flattened, cleaned and 250 tents will be put up.
Meanwhile with the construction of the camp, the migrants will receive support like blankets, beds and clothing.
