A YPG press member wounded in Deir ez-Zor
Besir Heseke, a member of People’s Defence Forces (YPG) Press Office, was wounded in a suicide attack by ISIS in Deir ez-Zor.
Besir Heseke, a member of People’s Defence Forces (YPG) Press Office, was wounded in a suicide attack by ISIS in Deir ez-Zor.
YPG Press Office said that Besir Heseke was wounded near Siwedan town on December 8, when a bomb-laden car exploded near YPG positions.
Heseke was on duty in Deir ez-Zor and was reporting latest developments on Operation Cizire Storm.
According to YPG’s statement Besir didn’t suffer life-threatening injuries and is currently being treated at the hospital.
Siwedan town, 25 kilometres north-east of Deir ez-Zor, was liberated by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Tuesday.
