The Second Conference of Kongreya Star Afrin Branch is taking place in Shehba with the Resistance of the Age in the background and the inspiration coming from that Resistance.

Delegates told ANHA that this conference is an important step to strengthen the organization and assess the work done so far.

Neda Bico said that the conference was a happy occasion for women to congratulate the Resistance of the Age and underlined the success achieved by women through their work and actions.

"Despite the difficult circumstances, nearly 500 delegates attended the conference. This conference has shown that we can stand up against all attacks against women. Every mistake was a lesson for us. This conference will represent a bridge towards women of all sections of society".

Xedîce Elo said that Afrin women have been leading the revolution in every field of life for years and have resisted the male dominant mentality.

"We will increase our struggle by filling the gaps with the results of the analysis we are carrying out at this conference".

Leyla Îbiş said that criticism developed in conferences is an important tool to actually strengthen the work of the organisation and solve problems.
