The Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) said in a written statement: “Our retaliatory actions against the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army continue. A series of actions were carried out in the Bab and Sherawa regions for our comrades who fell as martyrs on 19 November."
Two soldiers wounded in Bab
The statement said the details of the actions were as follows: “On 22 December, an action was carried out on the base belonging to the Turkish army in the village of Tuweys in the Bab region. As a result of this action, 2 soldiers were wounded.
Four bases hit in Shêrawa: 9 soldiers dead
On 26 December, a raid was carried out on 4 bases belonging to the invading Turkish army in Sherawa. At midnight, we hit the four bases. Our forces took control of the bases after short clashes and 9 soldiers were killed in the first clashes.
A number of equipment, ammunition and rifles were seized.
On the other hand, an armored vehicle that came for reinforcements was destroyed. When the enemy arrived, it was once again targeted by our forces. In the second action, 3 invaders were killed.
Actions will continue
A total of 12 soldiers were killed in the actions and many invaders were injured. The number of injured was not established.
