Commemorating its fighter Ciwan Kefernaya, who fell martyr in the attack carried out by the invading Turkish state mercenaries in the second phase of the Afrin Epochal Resistance, the Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) said: “Believing in the freedom and democracy revolution of the people with great enthusiasm and loyalty, Comrade Ciwan resolutely resisted all kinds of backwardness and fell joining the caravan of martyrs."

The statement added: “Our warrior Ciwan Kefernaya fell martyr on 13 November during the attack carried out by the invading Turkish state mercenaries in the second phase of the Afrin Epochal Resistance.

Comrade Ciwan was born in Shehba in a patriotic family. He has fulfilled their duties and responsibilities in our struggle against the occupation and our resistance until the last moment. Comrade Ciwan, who believed in the freedom and democracy revolution of the people with great enthusiasm and loyalty, resolutely resisted all kinds of backwardness and joined the caravan of martyrs.
