In a written statement the Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) said that they have targeted the invaders in the areas of Jindires, Mare, and Sherawa, in the province of Afrin.

The following details were given about the actions that took place between 5 and 11 May:

"5 May: Our forces carried out an action against the invading army in the village of Dêrbêlût in Jindirês district and killed 2 mercenaries.

7 May: Our forces carried out a sabotage action against the invading Turkish state mercenaries in the village of Basûtê in Shêrawa. As a result of the action 2 mercenaries were killed and 2 were injured.

8 May: Our forces killed one mercenary in the assassination action they carried out around Mare city.

11 May: Our forces carried out a sabotage action against the invading army mercenaries at the junction with Afrin city center, 1 mercenary was killed and 1 was injured.

Within the scope of the actions carried out by our forces, a total of 6 mercenaries were killed and 3 others were injured."
