The people of Shehba condemned the invading Turkish army's attacks on Shengal and launched a tent action in the village of Ehres to support the people of Shengal.
Shehba residents, members of the Fafînê Assembly and Afrin Yazidi' Union participated in the tent protest.
Condemning the crimes committed by the invading Turkish army against the people, Fafînê Assembly member Idris Şêxo said: "The invading Turkish army wants to put pressure on the people of Northern and Eastern Syria and Shengal with its attacks. Yesterday it was Shengal, today Til Temir, tomorrow who knows where. For this, the Kurdish people must unite.”
Drawing attention to the silence of the international community, Şêxo underlined that organizations that call themselves human rights defenders should take a clear stand about the crimes against civilians.
The tent action will last for 3 days.
