Al-Raqqa: Intense clashes in Al-Mirur and Al-Amin neighbourhoods
Syrian Democratic Forces fighters are clashing with ISIS gangs in Raqqa’a Al-Mirur and Al-Amin neighbourhoods.
According to local sources, SDF fighters killed 9 ISIS gangs since Friday night. SDF reported 7 bodies of ISIS gangs are captured by its forces.
SDF fighters liberated Old Al-Raqqa and al-Diriya neighbourhoods of al-Raqqa city. Both neighbourhoods are declared free of ISIS.
Since the beginning of the operation, SDF liberated 14 neighbourhoods of Raqqa and rescued thousands of civilians. SDF officials say they control 65 percent of the city.
