A ceremony was held in the Enteriye neighborhood of Qamishlo Before ANHA reporter Dilîşan İbiş’s body was sent off to Kobanê.

Many journalists attended the ceremony and the message of the speeches was, “Dilîşan’s camera will be a tool to wipe out what the ISIS gangs did to the civilians. All journalists should uphold Dilîşan’s voice.”

After the speeches, the crowd received Dilîşan’s body and set off for Kobanê where she will be buried in the Martyr Dicle Martyrs Cemetery.

Reporter Dilîşan İbiş had been killed in the ISIS bombing on civilians between Deir ez-Zor and Hesekê while she was following the civilians’ situation. Reporters Rizgar Deniz and Hogir Mihemed were wounded in the same attack.
