According to an article by Hawar News Agency (ANHA) based on a source in Afrin, the invading Turkish army and their allied Ahrar Al Sham gangs abducted brothers Casim Ebd Efarim (23) and Xelef Ebd Efarim (25) from the Imerat clan.
The brothers were brutally tortured in a dungeon in Idlib and their family was held for a large sum of ransom.
According to the source, the brothers’ bodies were discovered in the Xirbet El Coz village near the Bab Al Hawa border gate in Idlib.
The family recovered the brothers’ bodies and buried them in the Zadiya cemetery in Afrin.
The invading Turkish army and their allied gangs continue to steal from the people of Afrin, pillage, abduct, torture and kill.
New incidents of theft, rape, torture and executions come from Afrin every day. The Turkish state has called the invasion operation against Afrin the Operation “Olive Branch”, and they systematically commit war crimes in the region along with their gangs.
The Turkish forces started their invasion attacks on January 20, and they entered the city center with their gangs on March 18. Hundreds of civilians have been abducted, and hundreds more have been killed since the invasion attacks started. Civilians’ homes have been looted and bombed, their property has been seized. Many historic sites were also victims of the brutality. People were abducted and tortured every day, every day more property was seized.
In a recent report, the Human Rights Watch (HRW) said groups backed by Turkey have been confiscating and pillaging properties that belonged to Kurdish civilians in Afrin.
