Another civilian kidnapped in occupied Afrin

Occupation forces continue their atrocities against the people of Afrin.

News of torture, rape, theft and executions come out of invaded Afrin every day. The Turkish state named the invasion operation against Afrin the “Olive Branch”, and has systematically been committing war crimes in the region with their gangs.

Turkish forces launched their invasion attacks on January 20, and entered the city center with their gangs on March 18. Since the invasion attacks started, hundreds of civilians have been murdered and hundreds of others were abducted.

Civilians’ homes were looted and bombed and their belongings were confiscated. Many historic sites were also victims of this brutality. There are news every day that people are abducted and tortured and have their property seized.

A source from the village of Mosaka in Afrin’s Rajo district reported that Turkish-backed mercenaries have kidnapped 34 years old Şêrwan Mistefa from his tailor shop two days ago. The aftermath of the kidnapped civilian is not known.

According to the source, the gangs asked ransom from Mistefa’s family to release him.
