Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria reports 317 new cases of Covid-19

On Sunday, the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria said that 16 people died from Covid-19 and 317 new cases were detected.

The co-chair of the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria said on Sunday that 317 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded and that 16 people died. 

The dead were a man and woman from Heseke, a man and a woman from Qamishlo, a man from Derik, two men from Kobanê, three men and a woman from Raqqa, a man and a woman from Tabqa, a man from Manbij, and two men and a woman from Shehba.

The Health Authority also confirmed that of the 317 new cases reported, 183 were males and 134 females. 

The new cases were distributed as follows:

 24 cases in Heseke

 29 cases in Qamishlo

 16 cases in Dêrik

 5 cases in Girkê Legê

 8 cases in Amude

 48 cases in Kobanê

 87 cases in Raqqa

 37 cases in Tabqa

 43 cases in Manbij

 20 cases in Shehba

He added that ten people recovered.

The number of people infected with Coronavirus in the region reached 33,960. 

1,225 people died and 2,380 people recovered.
