Northern and Eastern Syrian Autonomous Administration supported Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s message and said, “All parties must participate in activating efforts to create a solution to ensure a dignified life.”
Northern and Eastern Syrian Autonomous Administration issued a written statement on the message Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan sent.
“MR. ÖCALAN’S MESSAGE IS IMPORTANT”
The statement included the following:
“As the Northern and Eastern Syrian Autonomous Administration, we believe Mr. Öcalan’s message proposing a democratic and political solution through dialogue has invaluable significance.
Mr. Abdullah Öcalan lived in Syria for 20 years, and has views based on a deep understanding of history on incidents and developments in the Middle East and Syria.
We have been following necessary paths to ensure stability and a solution in Syria on the basis of maintaining geographical and social unity. We are on the side of a democratic constitution that would support Syria’s unity and ensure stability. The Autonomous Administration’s project includes correct dialogue and responsibility to ensure a solution.
“ALL PARTIES MUST SERVE THE SOLUTION”
We have not threatened Turkey at all, ever, but Turkey has invaded Afrin, supported gangs and implemented policies to create a demographic shift. People of Afrin were forced to move away from their lands, which are part of Syrian territory. Turkey’s policy in the Syrian issue since the beginning has not offered any solutions, but their threats and attacks continue still.
The efforts spent must serve stability. We are an integral part, and we support the efforts. As the Northern and Eastern Syrian Autonomous Administration, we would like to state that we believe it is important for all parties to participate in activating efforts to serve peace and a democratic solution, creating stability and ensuring a dignified life.”
