Balance sheet of invasion attacks against Til Temir and Zirgan

The invading Turkish state and its mercenaries shelled Til Temir and Zirgan with more than 50 mortars. The Turkish shelling left 2 women and a child dead, 5 others injured.

The Turkish occupation forces and their allied mercenaries continue their attacks against Zirgan and Til Temir districts of the Hesekê Canton, north-eastern Syria.

The Turkish troops and mercenaries bombed both districts last night. Furthermore, they targeted more than 10 villages from their bases in the east of occupied Serêkaniyê with 50 mortars.

At around 16:00 yesterday (Dec. 30) the Turkish troops and mercenaries attacked the Zirgan district and the villages of El-Esediye, El-Xedrawî, Dede Ebdel, Bisîs, El-Niwêhat and Til El-Werd. The occupation forces attacked a mosque Zirgan downtown while the people were gathering to pray. A citizen named Xeşman Hesen Xelef was injured as a result of the attack.

The names of the citizens who were martyred in Zirgan are as follows: Cawahêr El-Nehar, Cemala Musa El-Nehar and Elam Elî El-Îsa (2). On the other hand, Mihemed Îsa El-Elî (2), Ole Elî El-Îsa (5), Mihemed Xelef (33) and Mihemed Ebdulhemîd (1) were injured during the attacks.

The Turkish forces and mercenaries simultaneously attacked the villages of Til Temir. The Assyrian village of Til Şenan, east of Til Temir, and the villages of Derdara, Um El-Kêf, Til Cuma, Til Kerabît and El-Tawîle were also targeted. The attacks caused significant material damage.

Most recently, 4 civilians were killed and 14 people, including children, were injured during the Turkish attacks on Zirgan.
