Brothers Mihemed (Hemze) and Ehmed (Heyder) Îyade El Tebxan laid to rest in Hesekê

Brothers Mihemed Îyade El Tebxan (Hemze) and Ehmed Îyade El Tebxan (Heyder) fell as martyrs in the operation against ISIS in Sina prison and were buried with a ceremony held in Hesekê.

Hundreds of people accompanied the coffins of the two brothers from the Martyrs' Families Council to Shedade Martyrs' Cemetery in Hesekê.

Speaking at the funeral, which started with a minute’s silence, SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) Commander, Sayil El Zoba, drew attention to the importance of continuing the fight against ISIS with determination. He said that the Sina operation sent important messages to the world, and added: "We showed to the whole world that we continue to stand against every conspiracy as a single people and a single hand. We reiterate our promise to increase the struggle following the path of our martyrs."

Ehmed Al Esed, co-chair of Shedade Religious Affairs Office, said: "The SDF saved the people of Hesekê from a great danger. Thanks to the heroic resistance of the martyrs, the terrorists were prevented from getting out of prison."

Addressing the world's public opinion, Al Esed emphasized that everyone should stand by the SDF.

Martyrs' Families Council member Ayat Ibrahim read the martyrs' certificates and delivered them to their families.

At the end of the ceremony, the bodies of the martyred brothers were buried side by side with slogans and zılgıts.
