Afrin Social Services Committee and Culture and Arts Committee organized a celebration for the children of martyrs. 63 children of martyrs attended the celebration held at the Mihtan Culture and Art Center in Ehdas district of Shehba. The hall where the celebration took place was decorated with pictures of children.

Speaking at the celebration that started with a minute of silence, Afrin Social Services Committee deputy co-chair Wefaa Hisên said: “Orphans need love and a warm environment. Various activities are organized for orphans around the world. We organized such a celebration for the children of the martyrs here in Shehba.”

Noting that it is not possible to make differences between children, Wefaa Hisên underlined that all children should be given the same opportunities and that everyone should take responsibility for the children. Hisên added that the administration is working to provide better living conditions for children.
