Celebration to mark anniversary of Manbij liberation begins

The Kurdish, Circassian, Arab, Turkmen peoples living in Manbij are attending the celebration organised to mark the second anniversary of the liberation of the city from the DAESH (ISIS) mercenaries.
The event is held at the Xesaniya school square.
All around the area of the rally is covered with posters and banners, remembering the sacrifice of the many who lost their life fighting to liberate the city.
Flags of the Syrian Future Party, Manbij Women's Council, Self-Defense Forces, Turkmen Association and the Manbij Youth Organization are flying everywhere.
Delegations from Raqqa, Tabqa, Deir ez-Zor and the Euphrates region have come to Manbij to join the rally.
The celebration opened with a minute silence. Then mothers of the martyrs let white doves fly and a military ceremony was organised by Self-Defense Forces fighters.
The celebration will see music, speeches, dance, cinema.
