"No matter who conducted the atrocity, they should be brought to justice as soon as possible and condemned to the highest punishment," the statement read, calling for the perpetrators of sexual assault to be located and tried as quickly as possible. "This atrocity is too horrible to be tolerated by humanity or conscience," it stated.
Demanding that a trial be held with the participation of Manbij residents and women, the statement noted, "This is a public trial. A Child Protection Law should be implemented."
In the meantime, Manbij Public Security Forces began working in the city to find the child's murderers.
