The citizens of Hesekê said that the Turkish invasion attacks on North-East Syria are encouraged by the silence of the international community.
After repeated failures, the Turkish army attacked North and East Syria, southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) and Shengal in defiance of international agreements and laws. 4 citizens were injured following an attack on a civilian vehicle on the move on the Qamishlo-Amude road yesterday.
The citizens of Hesekê pointed out that the occupying Turkish state is continuing to commit war crimes, taking advantage of the silence of the international community.
CALL UPON THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
Ebdulbaqî Îbrahîm condemned the Turkish attacks on citizens, saying, “The international community, particularly the US and Russia, must fulfil their duties against the crimes of the Turkish state.”
“The international community is responsible for the crimes of the Turkish state,” Dilsoz Ibrahim said, pointing to the daily attacks carried out by the Turkish army and its mercenaries against North and East Syria.
“Why is the Turkish army attacking innocent women, children and elderly citizens with cannons and bombs?” Rakan Şêxo asked. Şêxo stressed that the international community should call a halt to the inhumane crimes committed by the Turkish army.
