Cizire Canton Co-chair: “Öcalan is representing the peoples of the region. The key to peace, love and fraternity among the peoples of the region is in his hands. He can resolve the crisis of the Middle East. His health situation should be made public."
Cizire Canton Co-chair Sheikh Himedi Deham El Hadi spoke to ANHA on Öcalan’s health and safety.
El Hadi said: “All the states of the Middle East and the world should be searching for the most suitable solution to the crisis of the Middle East. There must be an end to the bloodshed. The war in the Middle East must end, and the issues must be resolved peacefully. Because killing and war just deepen the crisis and don’t bring about any solution.”
El Hadi stated that the secrecy about Öcalan’s health affects all the Northern Syrian and Middle Eastern peoples negatively and added: “We demand the Turkish state announce the health situation of Öcalan who hasn’t been heard from in a long time. All the peoples of the region agree that the Turkish state should approach Öcalan in a humane and moral way. They should not violate human rights, and particularly the rights of a prisoner like Öcalan who has become the symbol of the peoples of the region.”
Cizire Canton Co-chair Sheikh Himedi Deham El Hadi concluded his speech by stating that all the peoples of the region need a person like Öcalan and said: “Especially during this period the region is experiencing, there is a need for him. Only Öcalan can create peace and love among the peoples of Northern Syria with his ideas. Northern Syria lives in fraternity and peace with Öcalan’s ideas.”
