Fierce fighting takes place between the militias involved in the occupation of Afrin. According to local sources from Afrin, Ahrar al-Sharqiya and other militias close to Turkey have engaged in violent clashes in the city.

The battles intensify in the surroundings of the Karama school. The shops in the city have been closed and people are not allowed to go out.

According to available information, two militiamen have died in the conflict so far and five others were injured. Explosions were reported from the city center last night.
