Clash between YPG and Turkish troops crossing the border
The invading Turkish army has crossed the border west of Kobanê Canton. Clash erupted in the area upon the intervention of YPG/YPJ fighters.
Rojava-based ANHA news agency reported that Turkish troops crossed the border in the Bobanê village 15 km west of Kobanê with heavy weapons and military equipment at 11:20 Sunday noon.
Acting against the activity of Turkish troops, YPG/YPJ fighters did not allow their advance into Kobanê soil.
Fighting erupted between the Turkish soldiers and YPG/YPJ fighters and sporadic clashes are ongoing in the village of Bobanê.
