SDF fighters liberated Zir and Sihel villages near Abu Hemam town on Saturday. Several bomb-laden vehicles, mortars and armaments were also seized. Special units defused the bombs in the vehicles after they were transferred to a safe area.

As the operations continue in the area displaced residents started to return their villages. SDF only permits the returns after clearance of mines and booby traps is completed.

Dozens of villages in the region now returned to their normal lives thanks to the efforts of SDF fighters.

Meanwhile SDF also continues its operations against remaining ISIS gangs who are encircled near the border between Iraq and Syria.
