Stating that the closure of Semalka was a political decision, not the young people's protest, the PYD Assembly co-chair said that the KDP could not hide its crimes in this way.
The action carried out by the families of the martyrs at the Semalka border gate to demand the return of the bodies of the martyrs continues on the 110th day.
On Friday morning, a delegation of Til Koçer residents joined the action tent to support the families.
The delegation was greeted by the people of Çilaxa with slogans condemning the KDP betrayal.
Til Koçer PYD Assembly co-chair Semira Mutred condemned the attacks of the KDP against the people of Northern and Eastern Syria and the guerrillas as inhumane.
Semira Mutred said: "Although the Bashur Kurdistan government knows that the guerrillas are fighting to defend the gains of the Kurds, their hostile policies are not likely to be accepted. The KDP should determine its attitude towards the families of martyrs as soon as possible and deliver the bodies of the martyrs of Xelîfan to their families."
Semira Mutred said that they will continue to fight until the demands of the families of the martyrs are met.
Drawing attention to the economic embargo imposed by the KDP on the people of Northern and Eastern Syria, Mutred said: "The closing of the border gates by the KDP is a political decision. This decision has nothing to do with the protest action carried out by the young people."
