A vigil against Turkish threats has been organised by people in Girê Spî.
Representatives of the Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration Hemdan al-Ebd and Elîzabêt Gewriyê visited the vigil held against the threats made by the Turkish state held in Girê Spî.
Speaking here, Hemdan al-Ebd said: “This vigil organised by the people is a message to Erdoğan and his government that the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria do not accept the policies of the Turkish state.”
The Turkish state is trying to eliminate the will of the people to leave together in peace and to destroy the democratic project implemented in Northern and Eastern Syria, said al-Ebd.
The Turkish state wants to crush the peoples of the region, said al-Ebd, reminding the murder of Umer Elûş and Mele Beşîr Feysel El-Hiwêdî.
Elîzabêt Gewriyê said that Turkish President Erdoğan had dreams of reestablishing the Ottoman state. She reminded the practices of slaughter, plundering and forced immigration in the areas occupied by the Turkish state.
