Hol Camp of the Hesekê Canton is housing tens of thousands of Syrian and Iraqi displaced people, as well as families of foreign ISIS mercenaries arrested by the SDF forces. 

The Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria is trying to meet the needs of the refugees, despite the limited resources available.

The migrants, who live in difficult conditions due to the scorching heat in the region during the summer months, are complaining that international aid organizations fail to fulfill their promises.

Many international aid organizations in the camp do not provide the necessary assistance to migrants.

Sara Mihemed, who emigrated from the city of Enbar in Iraq and settled in Hol Camp, told ANHA that they lived under difficult conditions especially now in the summer heat. "I call on the authorities to fulfill their responsibilities. ”

Fatima Ehmed said: "The food aid provided by charitable organizations is not enough. The same amount of food is given to a family of 2 people and a family of 9 people”. Fatima also said that the air conditioners distributed to them did not work.

Zehra Ebdulrehîm said that her tent had been burned as the result of the extreme heat a few days ago and that she was staying with her family in the neighborhood because she had not been given a new tent.

Rima El-Eli said: "We never see the aid organizations in the camp. We have never witnessed any help or work."

Alya Îbrahîm from Aleppo said: "The scorpions and snakes are too many in the camp because of the hot weather. The 7th and 8th sections of the camp are the worst off, and we need precaution against snakes and scorpions."
