Serekaniye people, who were displaced by the Turkish state, held a march at Washukani Camp in protest at invasion attacks and war crimes.
Hundreds of displaced people from Serekaniye, who live at Washukani Camp, staged a march under the motto “We will resist against massacres and forced displacement together with all the peoples”.
The people of Serekianiye, who were forced to migrate due to Turkish invasion, carried banners reading “Stop massacres against women and children”, “Stop looting and forced displacement”, and “Where is the conscience of humanity?”, as well as posters of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and flags of North-East Syrian women’s movement Kongra Star.
Speaking on behalf of IDPS from Serekaniye at the demonstration that followed the march, Co-chair of Washukani Camp Council, Elaa Cemîl El-Elî, condemned the silence of international community against the latest Turkish attacks on Zirgan and Til Temir.
El-Elî called upon human rights organisations to fulfil their responsibilities in the face of the crimes committed in North and East Syria.
