Consultant of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria, Mizgîn Ehmed, spoke at the funeral ceremony for the SDF fighter Tariq Ebd (Ismaîl Amûdê).

The SDF fighter had fallen a martyr during the Operation Jazira (Cizire) Storm.

Underlining that the Turkish state changed the demographic structure in the areas it has occupied in Syria, Mizgîn Ehmed added: “Our generous forces have resisted these policies and practices and turned themselves into human shields. The resistance in Northern and Eastern Syria has scared Erdogan.”

Ehmed emphasized that the Turkish state could not intimidate the people of the region with the threats of occupation and reminded the resistance against the occupation of Afrin.

“In Northern and Eastern Syria, there are military forces that freed the peoples from the genocide by a sacrificial resistance”, said Ehmed, who called on peoples from different identities and beliefs to protect the achievements reached in the region with a common resistance. “They will protect the people against Erdogan's threats. Organized peoples cannot be defeated. The peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria are organising within the framework of the revolutionary people's war.”
