Martyrs of the Honor Resistance Nidal Hesekê (Mihemed Şerif Al Ebdile), Mahmud Hesekê (Mahmud El Wekah), Ehmed Medat, Muhenned El Receb, Zınar Raperin (Ehmet Ebdilcelil), Kamuran Judi (İbrahim Eli Hesen), Beritan Serêkaniyê (Nesrin Yusif), Kesar Hesekê (Mahmud El Şemid) were laid to rest today.
After receiving the bodies of the martyrs from the Martyrs' Families Assembly, a convoy of dozens of cars set out to the Martyr Dijwar graveyard in the village of Dawûdiyê in Hesekê.
At the funeral ceremony Aziza Abdurahman from the Hesekê Martyrs' Families Assembly and and Hesekê Self Defense Forces commander Salim Ibrahim addressed the crowd.
After offering condolences to the families and relatives of the martyrs, the speakers said: "We once again reiterate that we will follow the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the dignity and freedom of their country. We will protect our lands. We will fight against the invasion of the Turkish state and its mercenaries, and we will expel the invaders from our lands. We are not afraid of war."
After the speeches, the martyrs' documents were read out and delivered to their families.
