Emergency healthcare center in Dêrik almost ready

Heyva Sor a Kurd is ultimating emergency healthcare center in Dêrik.

Kurdish Red Crescent Heyva Sor a Kurd has taken action to establish an emergency health center in Dêrik in the past months.

Now Heyva Sor a Kurd is about to complete its work thus responding to an important demand in Dêrik.

Emergency health services will be provided in the building built on an area of ​​250 square meters. In the center, 4 ambulances and 21 health workers will serve the public 24 hours a day.

Heyva Sor a Kurd co-chair Ehmed Şêxmûs told ANHA: "This step taken is a first in Dêrik. With the introduction of this extremely important healthcare facility, people can be treated in emergency situations. Especially in traffic accidents, emergency response is vital."

Founded in Dêrik, this center will also be able to provide services to nearby settlements such as Girkê Legê, Til Koçer, Çil Axa and Rimêlan.

Heyva Sor a Kurd co-chair reiterated his comittment to "do our best so that the public can access health services in an easier way."
