There is talk of a deployment to Ukraine of the mercenary groups that were involved in the wars in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh and are supported by the occupying Turkish state to maintain its presence in Syria.
Syria Future Party Manbij Parliament Chairperson El-Ebûd pointed out that the crisis in Syria was caused by the Damascus government's way of handling issues through military means. She added that the government is seeking pretexts instead of offering democratic solutions to the demands of the peoples in Syria.
Speaking to ANHA, El-Ebûd remarked that previous attempts to form an opposition based on transparency have paved the way for foreign interventions due to some difficulties.
“Syria has now become a hotbed of deep conflicts, whether we call it a domestic crisis or an international struggle for power,” the woman politician said.
She remarked that it was the Syrian people who paid the price for the civil war, and that most opposition groups have now become terrorists and mercenary groups that are used as a war machine by the occupying Turkish state.
'TURKEY USES MERCENARY GROUPS TO PRESS RUSSIA'
El-Ebûd emphasized that the Turkish state either kills the peoples in Syria or makes them kill each other in order to realize its project to rebuild the Ottoman Empire, as can be seen in the occupied regions of Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî.
She underlined that the mercenaries used by the Turkish state are now fighting world-wide for money.
“The Turkish state used these mercenary groups in the wars in Libya and Azerbaijan. Currently, Turkey, a NATO member, is trying to deploy these mercenary groups into Ukraine for its own interests. It is using Syrians in the war in Ukraine to put pressure on Russia,” she noted.
'DEADLOCK IN SYRIA BRINGS ABOUT EVEN DEEPER CRISES’
“Russia is also using Syria to realize its plans to revive the former Soviet Union. Thus, Russia has become an ally of the Syrian regime and played a significant role in the Syrian crisis,” said the politician and continued, “Syria is not a tool to realize their projects, these struggles for power will only cause the Syrian people to suffer more. The deadlock in Syria brings about even deeper crises.”
For the woman politician, there is no solution to the Syrian crisis other than establishing a dialogue that guarantees freedom and dignity for all Syrians.
“Previously, the Syrian people had a pioneering mission with regard to civilization and culture. Currently, the country has turned into another land housing mercenary groups that serve foreign powers, not Syria,” she concluded.
