In Kobane city of northern Syria, families of martyrs organised a demonstration in protest at the occupation attacks of the Turkish state.
After gathering at the Free Woman Square, thousands of people started to march to the Martyr Egid Square displaying photos of martyrs and banners that read “With the blood of martyrs and the scream of our children, we will bring you to account” and “SDF fighters are our children”.
The march, which was also joined by representatives of the NGOs and political parties in the city, was followed by a rally at the Martyr Egid Square.
Speaking here on behalf of the Kobane Assembly of Martyrs’ Families, Tolîn Şêx Ehmed condemned the silence of the international community on the genocidal attacks targeting North-East Syria.
Then spoke Mustafa Mislim in the name of Sirin Assembly of Martyrs’ Families and said; “We are here for the protection of humanity and democracy. At those times when everyone fled the terror of ISIS, our children resisted to the end. We have fought to save the world and we have triumphed.”
The rally ended with slogans in solidarity with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
