Self-Defense Forces fighter Hemûd Letûf El-Erbîd, who fell a martyr during a military mission on December 16, was laid to rest in Shaddadi on Sunday.

The funeral at Shaddadi Cemetery of Martyrs began with a military ceremony. A following speech by Self-Defense Forces Commander Salim Xalid highlighted the self-sacrificing resistance of the Self-Defense Forces against the genocidal attacks of ISIS and the Turkish state.

Speaking after, Nacî El-Nicûm from the Assembly of Martyrs’ Families expressed their condolences to the family of Hemûd Letûf El-Erbîd and vowed to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs.

After speeches, the death certificate of El-Erbîd was read out and handed over to his family.

Following the ceremony, Hemûd Letûf El-Erbîd was laid to rest with slogans.
